The lady suggested I e-mail them with my hours and what my job functions gave me experience in and ask if they were looking for any particular experience for me. I did so and realized just how much it was. I have experience in women/babies, hospice, adolescent/adult/senior psychiatric, adult, and senior health. The only thing I don't have much of is HIV/AIDS and while I can still obtain that, the Peace Corps does train me in my job role when I go. If they suggest education, since the lady said there wasn't much hands on in the Peace Corps, that is something else - however, I still have experience in that 'cause I educate as I do my job. Not as much as a nurse can of course, but I do. Wish I had thought about that BEFORE I sent that e-mail, but that is ok.
Now I get why Rachel and Sandra (nurses/house supervisors) laughed at me when I worried about not having much experience to be competitive enough against others wanting to join the Peace Corps.
:-P
